Long Time Away

Wow...almost 8 months since I did anything here. No excuses.
Went with my granddaughter to get a tattoo on her 15th birthday a couple weeks ago. She got a nice fairy on her calf. Yes, she's young. My daughter and I both got tattoos right along with her.

I got some new toys to play with: scroll saw, bandsaw and a drill press. I'm going to have fun now. Pretty soon I intend to open an Etsy shop and run a few Ebay auctions. Hopefully, it'll really become a family thing.

It has finally warmed up enough I can walk outside and still breathe. It's been rough this winter for me. I now have to sleep with a CPAP mask, but I no longer wake up with those awful headaches.

Gained a few cats outside over the winter. My shed has become a no-kill cat shelter. I've gotten some fixed and got shots. Somehow I need to find the funds to do more of them. I don't know why people just toss their pets out. Luckily I'm still keeping up with the food. Once in a while I buy chicken to cook for them all, with rice and veggies.

My youngest sister moved in back in November. If she doesn't get a job pretty soon, I'm going off the deep end. It isn't that we don't get along...she needs to work and get a paycheck.

One very sad day earlier this month: Jester kitty had to be put to sleep. He had cancer, and it just got too bad. He was a great cat, always purring, and always taking up for the smaller young ones when they got picked on, even the outside ones. He was old, and his fangs hung below his chin. I miss him. Pixie and Inmate still miss him, also. The others seem okay.

Okay, I'm gonn go take a nap before I gotta go to work.
